Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of July 27, 2020 to August 2, 2020.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON for PlayStation 4 was the highest selling new title, opening at 123,147 total retail copies sold.

Fairy Tail followed at 15,447 units on Switch and 13,236 units on PlayStation 4 for an opening total of 28,683 retail copies sold.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 86,605 units, while the PlayStation 4 family sold 4,025 units, and the 3DS family sold 776 units.
