The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Amazon U.K. has listed The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Switch.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword first launched for Wii in November 2011. Built around motion controls, the game requires use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, as well as the Wii MotionPlus add-on.

Back in November 2018, a Nintendo spokesperson told Eurogamer, “At this time we have no plans to release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch.”

The Amazon U.K. listing includes a “January 1, 2030” release date. The listing appears as a result from “All Departments” when you search for it in the “PC & Video Games” department, but does not appear at all if you search for it without a specified department.

A Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has not been announced by Nintendo.
