The home page of has leaked the announcement of Star Wars: Squadron, a new game in the Star Wars franchise developed by Electronic Arts subsidiary Motive Studios.

Star Wars: Squadron is the official title of Star Wars: Project Maverick, the existence of which leaked via PlayStation Network in March.

According to VentureBeat, citing sources familiar with the game’s production, Star Wars: Squadrons is an aerial and space combat game about piloting ships in head-to-head battles. It includes a single-player campaign, but the main focus is team-based multiplayer. It is reportedly planned for release on consoles and PC this fall.

Update 2:05 p.m.: Electronic Arts will premiere the reveal trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons on YouTube on June 15 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET.
