moon for Switch ‘Premium Edition’ launches October 15 in Japan
A physical edition of the "remix RPG adventure" game.Onion Games will release a “Premium Edition” physical edition of “remix RPG adventure” game moon for Switch on October 15 in Japan for 8,000 yen (8,800 yen with tax), the developer announced. Pre-orders are available now at Amazon.co.jp, ARC Online, Biccamera, Joshin, Rakuten Books, and Yodobashi.
The Premium Edition will include the following items:
- A copy of moon for Switch
- “moon Note: Back Stage ’97” secret development documents – moon was an impromptu development by the staff that created it. Go behind the scenes of the development team Love-de-Lic via this collection of documents. Go backstage with hand-written concept sketches, character drawings, project planning notes, and more.
- “The Child of Happiness” moon voice theater CD – A premium CD that gives you a full taste of the world of moon from start to finish, expressing the story seen from the eyes of the young boy via sound. It includes the voices of “Moon World” characters and the background music specially arranged for the game. Thelonious Monkees led the score.
- “Imaginary Moonscape” theater guide cards – A set of theater guide cards that give you a visual taste of the story seen through the eyes of the young boy. The secrets of the “Year of the Basin,” “Tavern Incident,” “Mid-Boss Battle,” and “Last Moment” not depicted in the game are visualized as stories in a total of four acts. These are all-new illustrations from moon character designer Kazuyuki Kurashima.
The Switch port of moon launched via the Nintendo eShop in October 2019 in Japan. An English version is currently in development. moon originally launched for the original PlayStation in October 1997.
