Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC to add playable Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan God Vegeta

"A New Awakening (Part One): Whis' Training."

Super Saiyan God Goku

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will add Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan God Vegeta as playable characters via paid downloadable content included in the Season Pass and due out sometime after spring, the latest issue of V-Jump reveals.

The game-original episode “A New Awakening (Part One): Whis’ Training” will be added, which you can play either before or after clearing the game. In it, you can take on training challenges such as a battle against Whis to gain a large amount of experience points. Through this training, you can awaken Super Saiyan God Goku, which increases your stats, allows you to learn new special moves, strengthens your combos, and evolves your finishers. This training can also be brought back into the main story. Through training, you will even be able to battle against Beerus.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Thanks, Ryokutya2089.

Update 03/19/20 at 3:15 a.m.: Corrected the story, which previously referred to Super Saiyan God Vegeta as simply Super Saiyan Vegeta, based on our source’s initial report.
