Shin Sakura Wars the Animation debut trailer, main visual; story and new characters detailed

Animated series begins airing in April.

Sega has released the first official trailer and main visual for Shin Sakura Wars the Animation, as well as introduced three new characters.

Story

Shin Sakura Wars the Animation

Taisho Year 30 (1941). Peaceful days have returned to the Imperial capital Tokyo—.

Imperial Combat Revue: Floral Division captain Seijuurou Kamiyama was transferred to Europe, and Sakura Amamiya was appointed acting captain. Kamiyama temporarily returns home to a Floral Division making strenuous effort each day, but with an unknown girl beside him. Her name is Clara. And she is the sole survivor of the Moscow Combat Revue, which was destroyed in a major accident. Sakura and company welcome Clara, who was entrusted by Kamiyama and reassigned to the Floral Division.

Meanwhile, a group that calls themselves the Moscow Combat Revue suddenly appears in the Imperial capital—.

Who is Clara from Moscow? And what is the objective behind the supposedly destroyed Moscow Combat Revue coming to Japan?

A new story of the Imperial Combat Revue: Floral Division is about to begin!

New Characters

  • Clara (voiced by Misaki Watada) – The sole survivor of the Moscow Combat Revue.
  • Valery Kaminski (voiced by Kenji Akabane) – Captain of the reborn Moscow Combat Revue.
  • Leila (voiced by Haruka Shiraishi) – Captain of the reborn Moscow Combat Revue.
