The field test will run on a Windows substrate version of ESP Ra.De. based on the upcoming M2 ShotTriggers release. M2 hopes to gather feedback from players during the field test in order to make the best possible home console port of ESP Ra.De. with the M2 ShotTriggers release. M2 will also distribute a field test-exclusive paper featuring the main visual of ESP Ra.De.
After the ESP Ra.De field test, M2 will host a week-long field test for Ketsui Deathtiny: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi at the same location starting May 24. While Ketsui Deathtiny: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi is already available for PlayStation 4 in Japan, the field test will be the only opportunity to play Ketsui with M2 Gadgets at an arcade.
M2 also plans to host live streams during the field test period, so even those who cannot visit the arcade can watch others play.
Platform(s) and release date for the M2 ShotTriggers release of ESP Ra.De. have yet to be announced.
