Here is an overview of the game’s story:

Cardfight!! Vanguard EX

Protagonist Izuru Shidou (voiced by Yukihiro Nozuyama), who attends Fukusou High School, spends each day doing nothing but fighting as “Brawler Shidou.”

One day, he encounters Katsumi Morikawa, who challenges him to a Vanguard fight, but Vanguard was unknown to Izuru.

Frustrated that he could not even play, Izuru steps into a card shop for the first time—.

During various encounters with characters such as Aichi Sendou, Izuru gets absorbed in a previously unknown passion and enjoyment of serious games and strategies different from fighting.
