Japanese trademarks: Humankind from Sega, The Gear for a Grown-Up Hero from Square Enix

Sega Games has trademarked “Humankind” in Japan.

While “Humankind” is also a word in the title of the upcoming Panache Digital Games-developed Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, that title is being published by Take-Two’s Private Division label. Earlier today, it was announced that the game will appear at The Game Awards 2018.

Square Enix also trademarked “Otona ni natta Yuusha no Tame Soubi,” or “The Gear for a Grown-Up Hero,” and Kadokawa Games trademarked the Chinese title for its Starly Girls mobile game (星耀少女).
