Ys Altago

Falcom has announced that Ys Altago, a new smartphone game based on the PSP action RPG Ys Seven, will be distributed by Taiwanese online game development and management company UserJoy Technology in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. A pre-registration event for the game will begin on November 12. A release outside the aforementioned countries was not announced, including Japan.

Here is an overview of the game:

Ys Altago is a new action RPG for smartphones based on the 2009-released PSP action RPG Ys Seven. Set in the Kingdom of Altago, Ys Altago reproduces its unique atmosphere, including its large beasts, and speedy battles that make use of skill-based attacks while adding online multiplayer elements, allowing players to party up and take on powerful bosses together.

Characters from Ys Seven—including Adol, Dogi, Princess Aisha Sari Edonis, Elk, Mustafa, and Geis—will appear in the game.
