Puzzle Fighter, which launched for iOS and Android devices in November 2017, will end service on July 31 after eight months, Capcom announced.

The reason, according to Capcom, is to allow Puzzle Fighter developer to dedicate its focus to the flagship Dead Rising franchise.

Puzzle Fighter will be removed from the App Store and Google Play on July 1 before servers shut down on July 31. In-app purchases will end on April 23. However, all existing purchased in-game gem currency can be used in the game until service ends.

Current players will be gifted 10,000 in-game gem currency today, and upcoming characters (Regina, Wily, and Ada Wong) and stages (Darminor and Uroboros Laboratory) will be available for free. Regina and Dr. Wily will be available today, while Ada Wong and the new stages will be available on April 23. Laer today, the game’s soundtrack will also be available to stream online for free via SoundCloud. Finally, the game’s previous Classic Mode special limited event wll be available at all times until service ends.

Puzzle Fighter was recently rated for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Europe. At this time, it is unknown if this is a port of the mobile version that has been cancelled, or something new entirely.
