Neko Atsume VR for PS4 launches May 31 in Japan, first screenshots and details

Neko Atsume VR, which was first announced in September 2017, will launch for PlayStation 4 with PlayStation VR support via the PlayStation Store on May 31 in Japan for 1,944 yen, developer Hit-Point announced.

Here is an overview of the game, via PlayStation Japan:

  • Place snacks and playthings – First, place snacks and playthings in your yard. There are various types of foods and toys, which you can buy in the shop.
  • Wait for cats to visit – You can observe the cats as they leisurely come to your yard, attracted by the food you placed. There are more than 20 types of cats, including white and black cats.
  • Substantial collection features – You can photograph the cats that visit and store the photos in your album, and register them as Best Shots in your Catbook. Also, you can receive wonderful “treasures” from rare cats.
  • New PlayStation VR features – By using PlayStation VR, you can play with the cats using toys. Spend a bit of time each day to live the comforting Neko Atsume life in virtual reality.
