Bandai Namco trademarks Battle Breeders in Japan

A new monster-raising title?

Bandai Namco has filed a trademark for “Battle Breeders” in Japan.

The Tokyo-based publisher has yet to announce a game with that title or subtitle. However, it sounds like it could belong to a title of the monster-raising variety, such as the Digimon series.
