Arcade Archives: Punch-Out

Hamster will release an Arcade Archives version of the 1983-released Punch-Out!! arcade game for Switch via the Nintendo eShop in Japan on March 30 for 823 yen, the company announced.

Punch-Out!! is a sports action game that tasks players with analyzing the opponent’s expressions and movements, and using various punch attacks and defensive maneuvers to win each round and become the boxing champion.

The arcade version of Punch-Out!! used two monitors, with the top monitor displaying the statistics of the match and the bottom monitor displaying the match itself. Arcade Archives: Punch-Out!! for Switch will feature the ability to change the display settings from a horizontal layout to a vertical layout in order to experience the same atmosphere of the original arcade version.
