Kadokawa Corporation has released a new trailer for Yume Nikki: Dream Diary dubbed “Prologue.”

The trailer is described as a collection of images edited and processed from the opening sequence of the game. Hidden within are crucial hints regarding the game’s “reimagining.”

As previously announced, Yume Nikki: Dream Diary is a re-imagining of the RPG Maker classic, reconstructed and enhanced using elements and styles of modern indie games.

Yume Nikki: Dream Diary is due out for PC via Steam and Playism (English, Japanese) on February 23 for $19.99 / 1,980 yen.
