Total sales for the Yomawari series have topped 100,000 units in Japan, Nippon Ichi Software announced.
Yomawari: Night Alone was released for PS Vita in Japan on October 29, 2015. Its sequel, Yomawari: Midnight Shadows, launched for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on August 24, 2017.
Nippon Ichi Software released a patch for Yomawari: Midnight Shadows today that adds tsuchinokos to the game. Users who find the white, yellow, and green tsuchinokos can go to the game’s official website and enter the Japanese characters found on each tsuchinoko in the form. The first person to find them will win Nippon Ichi Software’s complete slate of games planned for release in 2018. The next 100 will win a set of famous goods from Kakamigahara in Gifu Prefecture, where Nippon Ichi Software is based. And the following 500 will win a cicada specimen.
