Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link

Following a trademark leak last week, Marvelous has announced Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link for iOS and Android.

The smartphone game is an all-star battle that will feature 20 playable characters at launch, with popular characters to be added one after the other post-launch. The following 20 launch characters will each appear in new, matching outfits representative of their faction:

  • Hanzo National Academy: Katsuragi, Ikaruga, Asuka, Yagyuu, and Hibari
  • Homura Crimson Squad: Hikage, Yomi, Homura, Mirai, and Haruka
  • Gessen Girls’ Academy: Yozakura, Murakumo, Yumi, Shiki, and Minori
  • Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy: Imu, Murasaki, Miyabi, Ryobi, and Ryona

Additionally, a mysterious new group featuring three brand new characters—Senkou, Fubuki, and Gekkou—will also appear. Their objective is currently unknown.

Shinobi Master Senran Kagura: New Link puts players in the role of the girls’ master, who alongside them will aim for the “Shinobi Master” at the height of the shinobi martial arts tournament known as the “Shinobi Masters.” You can mix and match between factions to form a team of your favorite characters.

Pre-registration is available now at the game’s official website. Marvelous is planning various in-game bonuses depending on the number of pre-registrations received. 81,000 registrations will award users with a “Watermelon Master” Super Rare card. See the pre-registrations page for other rewards.
