Kingdom Hearts: Union χ downloads top six million

Kingdom Hearts mobile game reaches new milestone.

Kingdom Hearts: Union χ

Total worldwide downloads for Kingdom Hearts: Union χ have topped six million, Square Enix announced.

The game, which launched in March as an update to Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ, adds the “Union Cross” multiplayer mode, where teams of six can embark on quests and new missions to take down hordes of Heartless enemies and giant bosses. Players can now communicate using emotes and text bubbles, and coordinate multiplayer sessions. A new “Theater Mode” option also allows players to view cutscenes from the game.

To celebrate the milestone, Square Enix is giving away 3,000 jewels to users who login between June 4 at 4:00 JST and July 1 at 3:59. The game will also have daily special quests between June 1 at 0:00 JST and June 5 at 23:59 through which you can receive prizes such as a “Broom Summon” and “Skip Ticket.” Several other campaigns are also planned between today and June 11 at 23:59 JST. A “Roxas Art Ver [EX]” EX Medal has also made its way into the Premium Draw, and has a three times greater chance of appearing than normal from June 1 at 0:00 JST to June 9 at 23:59.
