New indie title due out in December.

Astrologia Odyssey IV: Chronos Reflection

Mediascape and Studio Alpha Line have announced Astrologia Odyssey IV: Chronos Reflection for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC. The roguelike 2D action RPG will launch digitally in Japan in late December for 500 yen.

Here’s an overview of the game:

The world of Astrologia Odyssey is a “fantastic magical girls’ story” themed after “constellations” and “heavenly bodies.” The series has seen three previous releases on PC, and will make its way to the PlayStation platform for the first time.

Shoot ’em Up Combo Action

Avoid enemy bullets, bounce back and approach, and counter-attack! Form your party and explore hack-and-slash dungeons.

The game is equipped with “randomly generated stages,” and as a “2D action game,” you can explore and clear dungeons as in a “roguelike game.”

Game Concept

  • A 2D side-scrolling action RPG where you form a party and progress through dungeons.
  • It is composed of randomly generated stage hack-and-slash exploration parts and boss clear stage parts.
  • The level of difficulty changes by level and attribute affinity, player skills (combo attacks).
