■ Character Cards

Each character card has its own attribute and type, as well as its own skills and abilities. Form a deck of your favorite cards and head into battle!

■ Card Types

Character cards are roughly divided into four types:

Attacker

A close-range attack type with high attack power and high physical stength. (Attack Range: One Square.)

Shooter

A long-distance attack type with moderate attack power, but the ability to attack enemies it’s not adjacent to. (Attack Range: Two Squares.)

Healer

A recovery support type with low attack power, but able to heal the ally one square ahead of it. (Attack Range: One Square.)

Booster

An attack support type with low attack power, but able to increase the attack power of the ally one square ahead of it. (Attack Range: One Square.)

■ Using Attributes

Each character card has a set attribute, and each attribute has affinity with another.

For example:

  • Fire attribute cards do greater damage to Wood attribute cards, but do less damage to Water attribute cards.
  • Wood attribute cards do greater damage to Water attribute cards, but do less damage to Fire attribute cards.
  • Water attribute cards do greater damage to Fire attribute cards, but do less damage to Wood attribute cards.
  • Light attribute cards do greater damage to Dark attribute cards.
  • Dark attribute cards do greater damage to Light attribute cards.

Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru is due out for PS Vita as a free-to-play title in Japan in 2017.
