Gundam Versus closed beta test applications now available in Japan

Closed beta test applications for Gundam Versus are now available via the Japanese PlayStation Store.

As previously announced, the Gundam Versus closed beta will be held in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea in March. Sign-ups are not yet available via PlayStation Stores outside of Japan.

Applications will be accepted until February 28. Downloading the application does not guarantee entry to the closed beta. Bandai Namco will select participants by lottery from users who download the application. A PlayStation Plus subscription will not be required to participate. Users chosen to participate who be e-mailed on March 9, and the beta can be downloaded that same day. The beta itself will consist of three phases:

  • Phase 1 – March 10 from 19:00 to 22:00 JST
  • Phase 2 – March 18 from 19:00 to 22:00 JST
  • Phase 3 – March 19 from 19:00 to 22:00 JST

A release date for Gundam Versus has yet to be announced. In addition to a Japanese release, an Asian English release is also planned.
