Try out the action RPG ahead of next week's release.

Akiba's Beat

A demo for the PlayStation 4 version of Akiba’s Beat is now available for download in Japan via the PlayStation Store.

The file size of the demo is 5.6 gigabytes. The description on the PlayStation Store doesn’t say which portion of the game it includes or if you’ll be able to carry over save data from the demo. It does come with a free theme, though.

Acquire plans to host a live stream to celebrate next week’s launch of the PlayStation 4 version of Akiba’s Beat in Japan today at 20:00 JST on Niconico. According to the description, it will feature a “major announcement.”

In Japan, the PlayStation 4 version of Akiba’s Beat will launch on December 15, with the PS Vita version’s release date still to be announced. In the west, Akiba’s Beat is due out across both platforms in North America and Europe in Q1 2017.
