Square Enix “not ruling out” Kingdom Hearts PS4 Collection

"We listen to our fans," says Kingdom Hearts co-director.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, which contain the majority of the Kingdom Hearts series, are only available on PlayStation 3, but Square Enix isn’t ruling out a port to PlayStation 4.

Speaking to GameSpot, co-director Tai Yasue said: “We haven’t come to decision and nothing is announced yet. We listen to our fans and our players and see what they think about it–and, yeah, I’m not ruling it out, but we’re not making an announcement just yet.”

Yasue added briefly that development on Kingdom Hearts III is in full motion, noting that it’s “moving along fine.”

Before Kingdom Hearts III arrives for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue will launch for PlayStation 4 in December. If you missed it, catch some footage and screenshots here.
