Spike Chunsoft teases 999 Steam release

"It looks like a STEAMship."

999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors

Spike Chunsoft is teasing the release of DS adventure game 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors for PC via Steam.

On Twitter, the company tweeted a short video of the ship on which 999 is set with the text, “A familiar ship heads into port.” It is the same scene that opens the DS game, but at a wider resolution.

In response to this tweet, 999 director Kotaro Uchikoshi tweeted, “It looks like a STEAMship.”

Based on these tweets, it is clear Spike Chunsoft is teasing a Steam port. The company did something similar before announcing the PC version of Danganronpa.
