Resident Evil 5 for PS4, Xbox One launches June 28

Re-release includes PC-exclusive No Mercy mode.

Resident Evil 5 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digitally on June 28, Capcom announced. (Update 10:20 a.m.: The retail version will launch on July 12.)

The new generation versions are rendered in 1080p at an increased frame rate, and includes all of the previously released downloadable content (“Lost in Nightmares” and “Desperate Escape” story expansions, “Versus” mode, extra figures, and four costumes), and the previously PC-exclusive “No Mercy” mode, as well as a new mode called “The Mercenaries Unlimited,” which combines “The Mercenaries” and “The Mercenaries Reunion” modes.
