Street Fighter V adds Alex today

The brash grappler with a bold attitude.

Street Fighter V

Alex will be available as a playable character in Street Fighter V starting today, Capcom announced.

The brash grappler with a bold attitude first made his appearance in Street Fighter III back in 1997. His parents died while he was still young, so he was raised by his father’s friend who taught him everything he knows about fighting.

Alex will be available free to all players until the real currency Zenny shop opens. This will also apply to any future add-on character that releases prior to the Zenny shop launching.

A Street Fighter V update launched on March 28 also added a host of other new features. Read more about those here.
