Romancing SaGa 2 for smartphones launches late March in Japan, PS Vita version facing issues

Re-release features updated graphics, controls, and more.

The previously announced iOS and Android release of the Super Nintendo title Romancing SaGa 2 is currently undergoing QA testing and is planned for release in Japan in late March, producer Masanori Ichikawa said on Twitter.

The PS Vita version is in a playable state, however, there are still a small amount of performance issues. Ichikawa said it will continue working until the last minute to the point where everyone can be satisfied, and added to wait for a follow-up on the PS Vita version’s release date.

The Romancing SaGa 2 re-release features updated graphics, controls optimized for each platform, and the “class” and “original dungeon” additions from the mobile version.
