Venus Project for PS Vita shutting down in February

Free-to-play idol game doesn't make it a year.

Venus Project, a free-to-play idol training game launched for PS Vita on April 21, is shutting down service on February 3, 2016, studio Galat announced.

Galat did not state reason for the game’s upcoming closure, but it did outline a series of events it is planning before the game is officially terminated:

  • November 5 – Service End Notification
  • November 5 – Ver 1.14 Released, School Festival GP Event Started
  • November 12 – Story Chapter 4 Released
  • November 26 – Story Chapter 5 Released
  • Late December – New Downloads for Main Game Ended, Star Sales Ended
  • January 14 – FV Ranking 3rd Series Ended
  • February 3 – Service Ended
  • February 10 – Support Ended
