Mirror’s Edge composer returns for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst

Solar Fields back on the score.

Solar Fields - Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Solar Fields, creator of the soundtrack for the original Mirror’s Edge, is composing the score for the upcoming Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Electronic Arts and DICE announced.

A short interview with Fields is available over at the official Mirror’s Edge blog. In it, the composer discusses the challenge of figuring out how a character like Faith “sounds,” as well as the process of composing these themes and how they tie into the game’s missions.

Listen to a sample from the game’s soundtrack below.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 23. If you missed it, a five-minute gameplay trailer was released in August.
