A mysterious organization with agents of unusual talent.

Tokyo Xanadu

Falcom has put out the latest set of Tokyo Xanadu screenshots, introducing Yuuki Shinomiya, the latest party member to join Kou, Asuka, and Sora who was first introduced in this week’s game magazines, and a mysterious organization known as Nemesis

Get the details below.

■ Yuuki Shinomiya

Tokyo Xanadu

A prodigy with an IQ over 180, and a Morimiya High School freshman who excels in programming and hacking. Although he’s only 16, he has amassed a considerable sum of money through application development, stock trading, and the like, and lives on his own in a luxury apartment in the city. He has a full taste of the world. He is enrolled in school only to graduate and receive a diploma, and only attends school the minimum number of days required for credit acquisition. Because of this, few students are even aware of his existence. Yuuki developed a fortune-telling app for Xiphone called “It Is as God Says,” which is popular among young people. However, it becomes the root of an incident he gets caught up in.

■ Character Actions

Yuuki’s Soul Device and weapon is the long-handle “Hammer,” as well as the independent unit “Soul Peridium,” which Yuuki can freely control at his own will. Yuuki’s control of two Soul Devices is somewhat different from Kou, Asuka, and Sora’s, and features unique actions.

Basic Attack

Tokyo Xanadu

With all your power, swing your long-handle Hammer Soul Device around and let out your attack. Although it has fairly well reach and attack power, the Hammer is heavy, so it’s speed is considerably slow.

Shooting Skill: Lambda Shot

Tokyo Xanadu

A skill that launches energy bullets from the Soul Peridium. Rather than the Hammer Soul Device you wield, the energy bullets are fired from the floating Soul Peridium. Unlike other characters, you can trigger this shooting skill while moving.

Flight Skill: Ideal Attack

Tokyo Xanadu

A skill that deploys a barrier around Yuuki from the Soul Peridium and lets him rush towards the enemy. During said rush, any enemy that touches the barrier will be damaged.

Strength Skill: Gram Impact

Tokyo Xanadu

A skill in which the Soul Peridium combines with the end of the Hammer, and sees Yuuki strike the Hammer against the ground to create a shocking force. In addition to the attack power of the regular Hammer, the inclusion of the Soul Peridium’s energy will deal great damage to the Greed.

■ Nemesis

Tokyo Xanadu

A mysterious organization with agents of unusual talent. They do extensive behind the scenes work as “management for the Other World” and have amassed a broad network of magic users, spirit power users, and wizard tool artisans. Supposedly there is one headquarters in the UK and another in the US, but no one knows for sure. In the event that the Other World aptitude is detected, a person can begin training in earnest if they wish, and after learning how to use Soul Devices and studying up on the Other World and Greed, an agent can work all over the world.

Tokyo Xanadu is due out for PS Vita in Japan on September 30.
