Square Enix will hold a location test for its “online 1-vs-1 tactical 5D action” arcade game School of Ragnarok between February 27 and March 1, and between March 5 and 8, throughout six locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, and Fukuoka.
“5D,” by the way, refers to how the game completely changes between 2D and 3D views depending on your distance from the enemy.
Game streamers M.S.S. Project and pro gamer Fuudo, as well as the School of Ragnarok development team, will host the opening event on February 27. On the last day of the location test, each store will host a tournament.
Those who participate in the location test will receive a “School of Ragnarok x M.S.S. Project” special button, as well as their name on a list of location test participants (if you use the NESiCA platform).
Here’s the full location test schedule:

- Taito Station Akihabara, Tokyo
