Number includes download cards and eShop sales.

Global shipments for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate have surpassed three million units, Capcom announced.

The game first launched for 3DS in Japan in October 2014. It saw an international release this past Friday, February 13.

The shipment number includes retail packages, download cards, and sales of the download version at the Nintendo eShop.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is an enhanced version of the original Monster Hunter 4, which sold over three million copies in Japan alone.
