A Puzzle & Dragons-like RPG and side-scrolling action game.

Funabashi, Chiba mascot character Funassyi the pear is getting two 3DS games this year, this week’s Famitsu reveals.

Nashi-jiru Busha! Funassyi vs. Dragons

Due out on March 26 in Japan and developed by Rocket Company, Nashi-jiru Busha! Funassyi vs. Dragons is a Puzzle & Dragons-style RPG where Funassyi must battle against a group of “Sim Dragons,” who are eradicating the fruit population. By aligning three pieces of the same kind either vertically or horizontally, they’ll disappear. A special piece raises Funassyi’s offensive power and swallows up surrounding puzzle pieces.

Nashi-jiru Action! Funassyi no Yukai-na Ohanassyi

Due out on April 30 and developed by Success, Nashi-jiru Action! Funassyi no Yukai-na Ohanassyi is a side-scrolling action game where players will run through a familiar fairy-tale world. Characters like Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty will appear as players control Funassyi through a total of 50 stages.
