A magazine scan surfaced this morning highlighting developer Nihon Falcom’s upcoming titles appears to provide a first look at the characters of the newly announced action RPG Tokyo Xanadu.
At least, that’s our only assumption, as the male character at the front looks similar to the one sitting in the Tokyo Xanadu artwork, and the environment matches Xanadu‘s modern day setting. Otherwise, the image doesn’t outright state it’s Tokyo Xanadu. But it does say it’s an “all new game from Falcom” and “a brand new ‘ordeal’ unike anything Falcom has ever put out in the past.”
The full scan also pictures the new Ys game for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. It’s worth noting that the scan calls Ys Falcom’s first PlayStation 4 title. However, being that Tokyo Xanadu is due out as Falcom’s “first title of fiscal 2015,” it might be that Tokyo Xanadu is not a PlayStation 4 game, as some might have expected.
