Senran Kagura: Estival Versus introduces four new characters, including a grandmother

Plus, the game will have a different form of Pair Battles.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus

In addition to the four teams playable in Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus will add a new team, this week’s Famitsu reveals.

The magazine introduces four new characters: Sayuri the mysterious grandmother, and the mysterious sister trio Renka (the eldest), Hanabi (the second daughter), and Kafuru (the third daughter).

A Multiplayer Mode will be featured. And the PlayStation 4 version will include a mode where a large number of people can play together.

Some additional comments from producer Kenichiro Takaki:

  • The new team’s characters also appeared in other games. A different form of Senran Kagura 2‘s Pair Battles has also been added.
  • In Network Battles, which are based on Shinovi Versus, there are plans to add more rules and increase the number of participating players.
  • Costumes will have new expressions, such as becoming transparent or dirty.

Senran Kagura: Estival Versus is due out for PS4 and PS Vita on March 26 in Japan. First-print copies of the game will include a visual book and two-disc soundtrack CD.

A limited edition will include a drama CD and theme song solo and arrange CD. Five Niitengo figures will also be included (Gessen Girls Private School for PS4, Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy for PS Vita). The PlayStation 4 version will include an original anime product code.
