Etrian Odyssey Untold II character trailer: Bertrand

Plus, new details on the 3DS remake's Classic Mode.

Etrian Odyssey Untold II

This week’s Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir character trailer introduces Bertrand.

Bertrand is a knight whom players will come across during a ceremony in the Ginnunga Ruins. He is a careless character who stands out for his lethargy and irresponsible conduct. He’s a good person, but gives paladins a bad name.

Additionally, the official website was also updated with details on the game’s Classic Mode, which takes over as much as possible from the original Etrian Oyssey II launched for DS in 2008. You’ll be able to take on the challenge of “Ginnunga” that appears in Story Mode, or you can challenge new monsters. You can also enjoy such areas as the State Restaurant, Guild House, and Grimoires in Classic Mode. Additionally, Arianna’s job class, “Princess” (or “Prince”), that appears in Story Mode are available in Classic Mode from the start of the game and can be selected when creating your character.

The 3DS dungeon RPG sequel is due out in Japan on November 27.
