Final Fantasy VII G Bike announced for smartphones

Gold Saucer mini-game coming to iOS and Android this fall.

Square Enix is working on Final Fantasy VII G Bike for iOS and Android, this week’s Famitsu reveals.

Due out this fall, the game is based on the one seen in Final Fantasy VII‘s Gold Saucer. It will feature obstacles not in the original game, such as jumping and sliding. And it’s also possible to switch between bikes and customize your materia.

Development is a joint effort between Square Enix and Naruto developer CyberConnect2.

And this might not be the only Gold Saucer smartphone game. According to the magazine, other Gold Saucer mini-game smartphone ports are also planned.
