Tecmo Koei trademarks Dynasty Warriors Blast and Samurai Warriors Shoot

New smartphone games incoming?

Tecmo Koei has filed new Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors trademarks in Japan.

The marks, “Shin Sangoku Musou Blast” (Dynasty Warriors Blast) and “Sengoku Musou Shoot” (Samurai Warriors Shoot) were trademarked on March 10 last month, and made public today.

It’s worth noting there’s a smartphone game called Dynasty Warriors Slash. That said, it’s possible these titles are for new smartphone spin-offs.
