Far Cry 4 will be set in the snow mountain ranges of the Himalayas, feature ridable elephants, and launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the first half of 2015, according to a Eurogamer source.
The website is unsure if PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions are also in development.
Back in February, internet sleuth Superannuation posted a rumor that, echoing Eurogamer’s source, the fourth game would be set in the Himalayas, but suggested there would be some sort of monster element.
The title will reportedly be revealed to the public at Ubisoft‘s E3 press conference in June, alongside The Division and other likely candidates including The Crew and this year’s dual Assassin’s Creed games.
Ubisoft declined to comment when contacted by Eurogamer.
