Overall 3DS sales surpass 15 million in Japan

Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Monster Hunter lead top-selling games.


Overall sales of 3DS hardware in Japan has surpassed 15 million units sold, according to a new Famitsu report.

As of January 26, the popular handheld sold 15,037,116 units across the country.

The top-selling game on the platform is Pokemon X and Y, which moved 4,228,244 units. Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Monster Hunter 4 follow with 4,072,068 and 3,383,004, respectively.
