Outlast runs at 1080p, 60fps on PlayStation 4

Crap your pants to the nicest resolution and frames.

The PlayStation 4 version of Outlast will run at 60 frames per second at 1080p resolution, Red Barrels co-founder Philippe Morin confirmed.

Speaking with Gaming Bolt, Philippe said the team didn’t run into any issues bringing the game to PlayStation 4.

“We’re using all the cores and the RAM also helps,” Philippe said.

Asked if there’s any differences between the PlayStation 4 and PC versions, Philippe said, “As far as we’re concerned, both versions look the same.”

Outlast is due out for PlayStation 4 in February in North America and on February 4 in Europe. It will be a free download for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
