Tearaway pre-order bonuses announced

Pre-order for an in-game rideable pig.

Consumers who pre-order Tearaway, Sony and Media Molecule’s upcoming adventure game for PS Vita, will get the game soundtrack, Tearaway-themed LittleBigPlanet costumes, and other bonuses.

The full list includes:

  • Audiolicious Tearaway Soundtrack with bonus track
  • Opulent iota and atoi costumes for LittleBigPlanet
  • Exclusive skin for the in-game rideable pig, and printable papercraft plan to match
  • Splendiferous iota and atoi Avatars for use on PlayStation Network
  • Resplendent PlayStation Vita Wallpaper

Currently, Media Molecule’s Tearaway team are preparing for E3 next month, and have most recently been working on the game’s beginning.

“The first area that you’ll get to play with iota or atoi is called Valleyfold,” said Media Molecule community manager James Spafford on the PlayStation Blog. “It’s a green and pleasant land that draws its inspiration from the English Countryside, and the great wealth of folklore that surrounds it. You’ll wander through great standing stones and travel to a humongous apple orchard, to take place in the wassailing ritual that will help bring in the apple harvest.”

Spafford promises you’ll see more of Valleyfold in the coming weeks. But for now, check out some new screenshots at the gallery.
