Mario Party announced for 3DS

Play across seven game boards with different rules.

Nintendo is developing a new game in the Mario Party series for 3DS.

The game will feature seven different game boards, each with its own set of rules. One game board, for example, allows players to collect moves, later multiply them with a dice roll, and make a huge comeback in a single turn.

Mario Party will offer 81 new mini-games that test players’ speed, concentration, and luck, and can also be played outside of the board game. Other new features include a 30-floor tower climb, AR card games, and StreetPass battles.

The game will launch for 3DS this winter.
