Mario Golf: World Tour multiplayer detailed

Play against players from across the globe.

Mario Golf: World Tour will offer competitive online multiplayer against players across the globe, Nintendo has confirmed.

Online matches will feature real-time play against other players. You will be able to upload your scores and test your skills in large-scale tournaments, and use a community feature similar to Mario Kart 7‘s to find and play against like-minded players, and recruit them to communities based on particular themes.

Players can also set special conditions for online matches. For example, traditional golf rules only with no special shots, or a Luigi-only tournament.

Mario Golf: World Tour is due out for 3DS this summer.
