Pokemon Black & White 2 pre-orders top a million

Pokemon mainline sequel out today in Japan.

Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 launched in Japan today. While we’ll have to wait until next Wednesday for sales figures, pre-order numbers are forseeing an successful turnout for the first Pokemon mainline sequel.

As of June 17, pre-orders for both titles combined at 1.16 million. Its predecessors, Pokemon Black and Pokemon White, also saw over one million pre-orders, and went on to sell over 14.71 million units worldwide.
