E.X. Troopers: Meet Bren and Gingira

A human character and his Vital Suit.

Capcom has released new screenshots of E.X. Troopers, its upcoming Lost Planet spinoff for PlayStation 3 and 3DS, showcasing characters Bren Turner and Gingira.

Bren Turner

  • Bren is a young man from EDN-2nd who joins the NEVEC educational institute Academy on EDN-3rd. After leaving home, his ship is attacked by a mysterious group of Vital Suits. Alongside his instructor Walter, the enemies are defeated, and the two make it safely to EDN-3rd in an escape pod. Bren is motivated by curiosity, is not shy, and many times says too much, often invoking trouble. Everyone knows the only reason he is on EDN-3rd is because he maintains the first star of the evening sky, Vital Suit Gingira.
  • Quote: “I’m Bren Tanner, the man who maintains the first star of the evening sky, Vital Suit Gingira!”

Gingira

  • Gingira is a state of the art Vital Suit in which Bren embarks. It is a prototype artificial intelligene designed to reduce the burden of the pilot and manuever quickly. Its built-in programming is highly intelligent and can speak to the pilot. Gingira calls Bren his “Master,” as he is its pilot.
  • Quote: “Understood. Master.”
