Fable Heroes announced for Xbox LIVE Arcade

Four-player co-op Fable coming soon.

Microsoft and Lionhead Studios have officially announced Fable Heroes today, a new hack-and-slash co-op title for Xbox LIVE Arcade.

The game will support four-players competitively and co-operatively in both online and offline modes. Players can collect coins while fighting through Albion, and use the coins to unlock upgrades such as new moves, characters, and items, as well as new content for the upcoming Kinect-enabled Fable: The Journey.

The game’s release date was not announced, but if a leak from last night is anything to go by, it should hit Xbox LIVE on May 2.
