QuakeCon 2012 dated
BYOC in early August.
This year’s QuakeCon will take place from August 2 to 5 at the Hillton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas, Bethesda and id Software have announced.
The four-day games convention will see Bethesda Softworks offer gamers their “first chance anywhere” to get their hands on the company’s upcoming releases. Each day will include new contests, entertainment, announcements, panels, and parties, including the yearly Bring-Your-Own-Computer LAN party, where “thousands of gamers” hook up their systems and play on “a world-class network.”
