Final Fantasy Type-0 Collector’s Edition unveiled

Amano artwork takes center stage.

Square Enix has revealed Japan’s collector’s edition version of Final Fantasy Type-0 today. Available exclusively through their eShop, it’ll retail for 12,760 yen (approx. $165 USD). In comparison, the standard edition of the game will cost 7,700 yen ($97).

The collector’s edition includes:

  • An original box (pictured), designed by illustrator Yoshitaka Amano. This front of this box is transparent, Amano’s illustration spread across. The back of the box features a CG illustration of Class Zero.
  • The limited edition version of the game’s official soundtrack, which includes a bonus DVD featuring trailers.
  • A postcard book featuring 24 postcards and an eight-page character introduction.
  • A copy of Final Fantasy Type-0.
