Rumor: Project Cafe is called the Nintendo

There has been many a debate surrounding the final name of Nintendo‘s new console, to be announced on Tuesday morning on the first day of E3, but today’s rumor appears to be the most familiar.

We’ve heard of the codename Project Cafe, and the possible final names Nintendo Stream, Wii 2, and Wii HD, but we’ve never heard it go the ‘reboot’ route. Many games are doing it, so why not a console?

According to what Game Informer is “hearing,” the new Nintendo platform, which we’ve commonly referred to as Nintendo HD, will just be known as “Nintendo.”
